Discovering teas and mug wish list

So I have a weird obsession with mugs. I’m not quite sure why, but every time I pull out a book to read, I have to prepare some sort of beverage JUST so I can drink out of my mug. Weird right? What’s weirder is that I don’t really drink hot beverages. Nope, not coffee or tea even hot chocolate. ( In my defense I don’t drink hot chocolate because I am Diabetic) Recently I decided to give tea a try. I purchased my very first tea from Teavana called Youthberry White Tea.

teaDescription : “Youthful and fresh, this clean and crisp, pale pink, blushing tea is made from candied pineapple and mango pieces with Fuji and Golden Delicious apples added for spirit. ‘Superfruits’ red currant and acai berry create a youthful glow in this medley of smart, bright, refreshingly soft white tea.”

I first tried this tea in their store, it wasn’t hot which is why I think I liked it right away. I have tried a lot of teas, from Green tea to Chamomile tea and so far none of them taste that appealing to me. As for this tea I haven’t made my self a cup yet, I guess I’m afraid that it won’t taste the same and for $11 it better!

Question for you guys: Any recommendations on teas that I should try? I’m open to try any kind.

Mug wishlist

I was browsing the internet when I came across Pier 1 Imports, I have been in their store before so I decided to browse their mugs section. I found some that  I would love to purchase, here they are:

Aren’t these all adorable? They range between $6-$9

  1. It’s awesome that you are giving tea a try. If you want something to try, have a go with black tea. This particular normally served in the morning; but in my case, it’s never too late to have a cup of black tea (there is also and earl grey tea which is a “high” tea for late afternoons).
Also, having a beverage of your choosing served in a mug is always a good thing. =)

    1. Hi Rocky, I have tried Earl Grey from Tim hortons before, black with nothing in it and it didn’t taste good at all. I am thinking of going to another tea store ( which is less expensive to teavana) to see how theirs tastes. I’m not sure if the brand plays a factor but what is the brand of the earl grey tea you drink?

      Thanks for the recommendation!
